Android 3.0 (Gingerbread/Honeycomb)

For all you android fanboys out there it appears there is more information on the upcoming android update.

Instead of just the single gingerbread as roumoured few months ago, it appears google will be released 2 separate versions. Gingerbread, for mobile phones, and honeycomb, for android tablets. Honeycomb require high tech specs, hence its targeted and specially designed for tablets, while gingerbread is optimized for mobile phones.

When will this update come out? It is roumoured by the end of this year, so all we can do now is wait. I for one cannot wait for this update to come out, as that will finnaly put the apple fanboys in their place :p While android are playing catchup, once they catchup they will be awesome.
